(More customer reviews)I bought one of these after having repeated problems with parchment paper and a demonstrated inability on the part of both myself AND my son to perfect the magic wrist twist/nose twitch required to get a pizza off the paddle and INTO the oven (ingredients sprayed all over the oven or the pie falling in part or in whole on the rack or door instead of on the pizza stone do not count as "in the oven").
I've been using it for 6 months now with no sign of degradation. Store it rolled, not folded. I use it for pizza, bread, and cookies. No more sticking to the pan, no more deflated baguettes, no more soggy parchment paper that promptly turns black in the oven. Simplicity to clean, just wipe it off with a soapy sponge and rinse. I have a tension curtain rod mounted over the sink between my cabinets where I hang a hand towel, I just hang this over the rod to dry.
It does need to be cut to size so it doesn't hang over the edge of your cookie sheet or baking pan.
I plan on getting enough to cut to size for all my cookie sheets and cake pans as well as the baking stone.
