(More customer reviews)Avoid this combination - the spray gun takes a lot of air to work properly with anything thicker than water or brush cleaner, and the cheap compressor doesn't provide it. The gun would be fine with a bigger compressor, or the compressor with a small airbrush, but not both together.
The spray gun might not work out of the box - it takes a bit of adjusting. Remove the cone on the front, and see if the needle retracts when you pull the trigger. If it doesn't, you need to loosen the nut on the side, remove the back, pull the needle back a bit, and tighten the nut again. Use a security bit (or do what I did and file the middle of a screwdriver blade) to adjust the nut.
And remember Dr. Bronner's advice - DILUTE! DILUTE! OK!. Use the recommended amount of thinner or else it's unlikely to work.
