(More customer reviews)Some spoon rests are not weighted properly. Some vertical spoon rests are not big enough in the base for more than one small spoon. Some vertical spoon rests have a back that's too tall for short handled spoons. Who would know this? Well, if you are looking for a spoon rest which hits it out of the park in all areas, this is it. So glad I bought this one. The cup is just deep enough to catch drips and the back is a perfect height for all my spoons and the whole thing is weighted properly and balanced so I can fit a few spoons ...even a ladle... in there without worrying about tipping it over. This one was a few bucks more but it is well worth it. I like the bronze....it goes with vintage, modern, or traditional. I do believe it comes in Chrome, too. Nice on my counter, too. When not in use, I leave it on the counter and I set 2 very cool hand made wooden spoons in it. Great buy.
