(More customer reviews)I bought this cake stand for two reasons....one, if I ever need to ice a cake, it's great to have on hand. Honestly though, I wanted something that was visually appealing as well as functional, because when I am not using it for frosting cakes I store my olive oil, salt, vinegar, etc. on it as sort of a 'lazy susan' next to my stove. It has a cool vintage feel, it's very study, and can handle the weight of a cake or condiments.
