I am really disappointed in this DVD. I really expected to learn so much from it. It was a pure 90 minutes of 1 lady frosting a cake. Frosting it. That's it. She took an hour and 1/2 to frost a cake. I had to shut it off eventually.
The tips she gives can be given really quickly.
She lets the cake rest to avoid bulging after she fills it (using the standard thick frosting around the middle practice), icing cracking. Put tons of frosting on the cake to make it even. The Viva papertowel trick to smooth out icing. I think her best part was how she made her icing, the technique. But I could email you the instructions on how to do that.
For the 31$ I paid for this thing, I am really saddened. What a waste.
